The BPSC 72nd Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Preliminary 2026 is conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission to recruit candidates for 1189 Group A and Group B posts in the Bihar state government. It is one of the most prestigious exams for graduates in Bihar.
The last date to submit the online application form for BPSC 72nd Pre 2026 is 31 May 2026. The fee payment deadline is also 31 May 2026. Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid server rush.
The application fee for all categories (General, OBC, EBC, SC, ST) is ₹ 100/-. Payment can be made online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet.
As on 01 August 2026, the minimum age is 20–22 years (post wise). The maximum age is 37 years for UR Male, 40 years for Female UR / BC / EBC candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation applies as per Bihar Government rules.
